こにちは! イースタ 休みは よいかったですが、とてもひまですね。Cubs game を 見ますけど、やきゅうが好きじゃありません。😐(I don't really understand the sport as you just catch a ball and run in a circle doesn't sound fun to me I guess) 。日曜日にイースタ dinner を 食べました! とてもおいし!I met up with my boyfriend a lot during the break and it was so much fun and I didn't know what to do with all the free time I had. 😭For easter I got a fish! さかなのなまは bubba blue です! (he's a betta fish!)とてもかわいい!金曜日は Dungeons and Dragons えいがをみたいですが、えいがをみました。It was really good, the stuck to the characters pretty close to the game or did there research more or less. Though the type of character or class (what your character is considered) I usually play wasn't much of a good guy which sucked 😭😭Anyway, I had a lovely break and I cannot wait for summer break!  じゃね!

The drama from me to you is based off an anime. With the same title the Japanese title is きみにとどけ. Its about a girl named Sawako who is bullied or well-treated as an outcast because she looks like Sadako which the girl from the horror movie the ring where the creepy lady comes out of the tv. However, a popular boy who everyone likes starts talking to her and getting people to see her as Sawako and not Sadako. This is a romance comedy drama/anime, I have only watched one episode so far but it's really good. A lot of drama adaptations usually just take inspiration and change it all but so far the drama closely resembles the anime, also the characters stay in their personalities in the anime. Usually, they change the characters to better-fit reality but they all match up character-wise. No, not really just made me remanence on when I would watch this anime weekly when it would come out, and seeing it turned into a j-drama was shocking honestly and I hope the rest of the episodes live

Hello! I went to the event where there was a guest lecture. It was so inspiring; I've always loved the poetry that was about a deeper issue than baseline or even literature in general like my favorite is the yellow wallpaper. It talks about a woman experiencing postpartum depression. When he was talking I could tell he was passionate about his work, I haven't seen that in a while from someone. I know a lot of people when they learn a new language make it their whole personality or its their one key factor about them. Even, my family hears me say the most basic level of Japanese and then go brag to their friends that "I can speak Japanese" even though it's not really that impressive. However, hearing the speaker talk about embracing the language you are learning to make it your own voice and embracing it positionally, really spoke to me. Now I am curious about him not meeting his mom till he was 44? I thought when I saw that "oh he hasn't seen his mom sin

Cheer up!

CHOO CHOO TRAIN by Excile is a song I can always smile too. It reminds me of good memories, my Japanese teacher from high school would always play this song whenever we needed a boost or just was a sucky day and needed some cheering up. It's such a catchy song too, it has a cool dance that goes with it, and watching like live performances are so cool. I can't really tell what this song is about when I read the translated lyrics but like the name, it's about a train ride. It repeats a lot of the same lyrics and has catchy background music so after listening you find yourself humming the lyrics.  The music video is also a very weird one and has nothing to do with the song I don't think which makes this song even weirder to understand the lyrics. But its such a good song and with these last couple of stressful weeks I've had, I have needed it.  I don't honestly see anything with my current Japanese study, however, Japanese 80's-90's pop has always entertain

Another song recommendation....

こにちは!I've been swamped with exams these last couple of weeks so I haven't had enough time to post here so I will be posting 2 this week! So today I am doing a review on  OTONABLUE by Atarashii Gakkou (新しい学校) This song talks about the concept of growing up too fast and wanting to do what grownups do. And loving like grown-ups do instead of basking in the awkwardness of first love and I really like the song for that plus the live performances of the song are so fun to watch they do dances and such that are really addicting, and I think that is the point of it. I didn't see anything related to my study now, but I have seen a lot of people enjoy this song in Japan especially early adolescents like middle school and high school students because it is probably what they are going through now and the song is very catchy which matches with a lot of pop songs and grabs people's attention. rating-9/10
